Michigan’s Great Start Readiness Preschool, established in 1985, provides high-quality preschool education to four year olds.

GSRP eligibility is primarily based on income. Over-income families may be eligible, but may need to pay a fee based on a sliding scale.

DRAKE HOMESTEAD

TAKE A TOUR OF THE DRAKE FAMILY HOMESTEAD IN KALAMAZOO

The Drake family built a lovely Victorian farm house in 1852. Original home was located in the center of Grand Prairie surrounded by prairie and woodlands. the architecture was typical of the times, Greek revival with Italianiate influence. This elegant Victorian farm house had a long lane, lined with maple trees as the entrance.
