In October 2010, the Michigan Department of Education, in conjunction with Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes, Senior Services Inc., Area Agency on Aging, and The Salvation Army, launched the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). This program helps local seniors to obtain additional food resources.

Qualifications (2024 Update):

60 years of age or older

Income for one (1) person per month:  $1,632 (or less)

Income for two (2) people per month:  $2,215 (or less)

Income for three (3) people per month:  $2,798

FOR EACH ADDITIONAL HOUSEHOLD MEMBER ADD $583.00 PER MONTH

You must bring identification with you such as; drivers license, State ID, social security card, and proof of income to the distribution site to show your eligibility.

DISTRIBUTION BEGINS AT 9 AM — ENDS AT 12 PM

YOU WILL RECEIVE: 2 BOXES OF CEREAL, 2 BOTTLES OF 100% JUICE, 4 CANS VEGETABLES, 2 CANS FRUIT, 1 CAN MEAT, 3 PACKAGES OF SHELF STABLE OR POWDERED MILK, 2 LBS PASTA, 1 OF EITHER DRIED BEANS OR PEANUT BUTTER AND 1 BOX OF CHEESE
