In October 2010, the Michigan Department of Education, in conjunction with Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes, Senior Services Inc., Area Agency on Aging, and The Salvation Army, launched the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). This program helps local seniors to obtain additional food resources.

Qualifications (UPDATED 2/1/2023):

60 years of age or older

Income for one (1) person per month:  $1,580 (or less)

Income for two (2) people per month:  $2,137 (or less)

Income for three (3) people per month:  $2,694

FOR EACH ADDITIONAL HOUSEHOLD MEMBER ADD $557.00 PER MONTH

You must bring identification with you such as; drivers license, State ID, social security card, and proof of income to the distribution site to show your eligibility.

DISTRIBUTION BEGINS AT 9 AM — ENDS AT 12 PM

YOU WILL RECEIVE: 2 BOXES OF CEREAL, 2 BOTTLES OF 100% JUICE, 4 CANS VEGETABLES, 2 CANS FRUIT, 1 CAN MEAT, 3 PACKAGES OF SHELF STABLE OR POWDERED MILK, 2 LBS PASTA, 1 OF EITHER DRIED BEANS OR PEANUT BUTTER AND 1 BOX OF CHEESE
