Concert Survey

In an ongoing effort to appeal to all age groups in the area, we are asking you to help us by filling out a short survey. We would like to know what interest there is in a variety of options we think offers a wide range of ideas. Help us narrow it down by telling us what you would like to see at the Community Center. Check the ones that you would be interested in participating in.

Vegetarian Cooking Classes – Now that you have cut back on your meat intake how do you make tasty and appetizing meals? Local chefs will show you how to make delicious vegetarian dishes.
Evening Cooking Demonstrations – Learn how to shop, prepare, cook, and serve exciting dishes from area chefs.
Photography Classes – Looking to take your passion for photography to the next level but don’t want a classroom structure? An instructor will help you take those great photos.
Foreign Language Classes – Learning a new language can be both beneficial and fun. We can offer the opportunity to have the skills to travel.
Art Classes – Instructors will teach you how to draw or paint or sketch.
Wellness Classes - Learn about all the components that go into being healthy including the different types of exercise as well as their benefits, nutrition, mental health, and more.
Woodcarving/Woodshop Classes - Learn basic DIY skills with these woodworking classes for beginners! Classes could offer a range of topics: carving, hand plane basics, working with epoxies and resins, sanding and finishing/staining techniques, and recycling furniture.
Bible Study – We would like to offer free, in-depth Bible studies with trained group leaders for all ages and various denominations.
Evening Massage – An early evening massage may be just what you need after a long day at work sitting at a desk or driving in your car.
Coffee Klutch - An informal social gathering for coffee and conversation. The gatherings usually consist of a group of friends. Why not meet at the Comstock Community Center. We provide the coffee, and you supply the friends.
Bicycle Club – Ride the surrounding trails in the area. We would organize it and help you get a group together to enjoy the outdoors.
Exercise/Yoga/Tai Chi/Walking - Too busy to go to the gym? We would like to offer low impact exercise for those who don’t want the expense of a gym membership but still want to exercise regularly.
Learn to Invest – Learning how to navigate your 401 or purchasing stocks can be intimidating and hard to understand. We will bring in Investment experts to help you choose what is right for you.
Writers Club – Journaling or just putting your thoughts onto paper sounds fun, but getting started can be hard. We can bring in people that can help you learn the ins and outs of getting started.
Introduction to Starting Your Own Business – Have you ever wanted to start your own business but found it too intimidating? We can bring in experts to guide you through the process.
Tournaments – Euchre, Pinochle, Cribbage, Rummy, or perhaps mix it up with board game tournaments. We will do the organization and you provide the fun.
