In October 2010 in conjunction with the Michigan Department of Education, Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes, Senior Services, Inc., Area Agency on Aging, and The Salvation Army, launched the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). This program helps local seniors to obtain additional food resources.

Qualifications:

  • 60 years of age or older
  • INCOME: $1307 (or less) PER MONTH FOR 1 PERSON
  • $1760.00 (or less) PER MONTH FOR 2 PEOPLE

***FOR EACH ADDITIONAL HOUSEHOLD MEMBER ADD $453.00 PER MONTH

You must bring identification with you such as; drivers license. state ID, social security card, and proof of income to the distribution site to show your eligibility. DISTRIBUTION BEGINS AT 9 AM — ENDS AT 12 PM

YOU WILL RECEIVE: 2 BOXES OF CEREAL , 2 BOTTLES OF 100% JUICE, 4 CANS VEGETABLES, 2 CANS FRUIT, 1 CAN MEAT, 3 PACKAGES OF SHELF STABLE OR POWDERED MILK, 2 LBS PASTA, 1 OF EITHER DRIED BEANS OR PEANUT BUTTER AND 1 BOX OF CHEESE
